Our bartenders have been BUSY. I believe we have Kevin Cosgrove to thank for that! He’s inspired a wave of syrup-making at the restaurant, creating unique, house-made flavor enhancers for the bartenders to use in both cocktails and on our non-alcoholic beverage list. I, for one, used to mix our regular iced tea with our Cambodian tea for a mid-afternoon refresher. But, ever since this lemongrass syrup appeared, it’s my new go-to flavor enhancer for my daily restorative.
Lemongrass syrup is a revelation: Sure, it has that essential “lemonyness,” but it’s a lot subtler than common citrus – more velvety and sophisticated.
This whimiscal video, created by Judith Prescott – our resident videographer who moonlights waiting tables – and with bartender Mike Taberski doing the honors, features our new lemongrass syrup – available only at The Elephant Walk in Waltham!
